My fiancé and I are all about helping the earth. We love to recycle and try to recycle everything possible. Last night was garbage night and we realized that we recycle about the same amount of material that we throw away in the garbage! That is pretty good in my book! Our goal is to recycle more then the amount of garbage we have and we are getting close.
If everyone was more cautious about recycling I think the world would be a much cleaner place. It does not take that much effort to recycle. All you have to do is have separate bags for each category. We have a category for plastics, metals, paper, and cardboard. Every time we are throwing any of these items out we make sure to recycle them in the appropriate bag. Be sure to wash out all food cans before putting them in the recycling bin! This makes everyone life easier.
Every Tuesday morning the garbage/recycling truck comes around and picks it up. If you are not currently recycling I urge you to give it a shot. Whenever you recycle you are creating more space on the earth and we all have to live here!
