Spring Cleaning in January!



It is a new year and my fiancé and I could not be more excited! We are getting married in August and we are only 7 months away from the wedding date. Last year was a crazy year for both of us and we are both ready for a fresh start. So last night we decided to do some major spring-cleaning in January! If you ask me there is no better time to clean then at the beginning of the year.

My fiancé started with the kitchen and I started with the bedroom. We both went to town on our individual rooms. My fiancé cleaned the counters, the stove, the cupboards, the windows and the swept and mopped the kitchen floor. I on the other hand was busy cleaning up our bedroom by dusting, vacuuming, washing and putting away laundry, organizing our room and cleaning out the closet.

I also cleaned my bathroom by wiping down the counter, sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning the mirrors and organizing drawers. My fiancé also worked on our workspace. We both work from home so it is so nice when our work area is clean and tidy!

Since we accomplished so much we were able to create massive piles of stuff to take to the Good Will and the dumps. My fiancé is busy right now cleaning out the garage while I have been vacuuming the rest of the house.
