A Romantic Valentine’s Day



What did you do on Valentine’s Day this year? Well my fiancé and I decided that we wanted to spend the day together shopping and running errands and then in the evening have a quiet night at home.

The day started out by going out to breakfast at this cute little bagel shop down the street from our house. The neat thing about the bagel shop is every Saturday morning they have a live pianist. The bagel shop was a great way to start our day. After eating breakfast we came home did a little house cleaning and then got showered and dressed for our day.

At about 3pm we were off on our shopping adventure. The first stop was Fred Meyers for some clothes shopping. Unfortunately they did not have the style of jeans we were looking for so we left empty handed. We did decide to have a sandwich in the deli, which is always a fun adventure. After lunch we headed off to Home Depot for some new lights. The last stop was the grocery store. My fiancé and I decided that for dinner we wanted a romantic home cooked meal and champagne and strawberries for desert.

I chose a lobster dinner, while my fiancé chose a steak dinner. We made a Greek salad along with cheesy potatoes for the side dishes. Dinner was fantastic and just what we had in mind. For desert we ended up having our champagne and strawberries along with activating our chocolate fountain!

Needless to say a good time was had by all! ☺
