Drop the Vacuum: the Handheld Way to Reducing Dog Hair

Who wants to carry a vacuum around up above your knees? I can tell you that I definitely do not! I love my dogs dearly, but I have a brief moment of discontentment when I see my just-cleaned couch covered with black husky hair. Especially because my couch has microfiber material, the hair will stubbornly stick to the couch if I try to brush it off.

Now I know what you’re thinking. What about those little handheld vacuums? Well, these are indeed handy, but I found that even these cannot always get all the hair off the fabric. I have an even easier, lighter, non-powered remedy.

Lint rollers have become one of my new necessities in my house. Not only are they incredibly handy for my black work pants that are instantly covered with a slight brush of my dogs husky tail, but they are very suitable for the dog hare-couch dilemma!

Obviously, I knew what I was getting into when I got my husky-chow mix, but it’s very difficult sometimes when I just finish brushing off the couch with repetitive hand swipes that make my arms ache, just so that my adorable pup can rub up against it as soon as I finish. It’s almost as if it’s a game to them!picture-16

However, I’m so incredibly attached to my dog, that I love beingable to cuddle up with them on the couch, so I am so happyI found this incredibly easy and manageable antidote for excessive dog hair!
