A family car that rolls in style

picture-27A family-sized vehicle, suited for kids, pets, soccer games, carpooling, road trips, camping, and most importantly—Fuel efficiency!

The 2012 Subaru Forester is about to be a hot car for anyone with or without people and things to haul around. It’s a fun, sporty, and sophisticated Subaru that is dressed to impress.

In comparison to the Outback, the Forester has a little taller of a profile to ensure cargo space and an overall feel for more room. In addition, the Forester is complete with a really attractive dashboard, plus a split-folding rear seat that features a center dual-cupholder tray that pops out from the seat cushion.

Base models are equipped with a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed 4-cylinder (with two pistons places on each side of the crankshaft at 180 degrees), that creates a horsepower of 170. This vehicle also gets about 25 mpg city AND highway (about 5-6 mpg better than the Outback).

You can also choose an option of turbo-charged, dual-overhead-cam version of the 2.5 that creates a 225 horsepower.

Internal features of the Forester include, but are not limited to:

  • Manual Gearbox (prevents rolling back in a 5-speed manual when on an incline)
  • air conditioning
  • cruise control
  • tilt steering wheel
  • remote keyless entry
  • height-adjustable driver’s seat
  • four-speaker audio system
  • power windows, locks, and mirrors
  • climate control
  • alloy wheels
  • heated leather-covered seats
  • reclining back seat
  • power moonroof
  • tilt and telescopic steering wheel
  • premium 100-watt audio system
  • touch screen navigation

What else are you looking for in a family car? This model seems to be the jackpot winner so far!
