Staining The Deck



We did it…we stained our deck!!! Not only did we stain the deck we also cleared all the junk off of it and pressure washed it to prep it for the stain. Now our deck is looking better then it ever has! Don’t get me wrong it was a lot of work - but somebody had to do it.

We are now ready for BBQ season! On Tuesday night we brought out the patio furniture for the first time and it felt great. Now all we need is good weather so we can go outside and enjoy it! This summer has been kind of crazy. My fiancé and I have a wedding in 6 weeks! We have been very busy with wedding plans. But 6 weeks from now all the craziness will come to an end.

At least for now we have a great deck to enjoy! The rest of the yard is slowly developing. One big accomplishment with our backyard was getting a 20-year-old hot tub out and to the dumps. It felt so great to get rid of the old hot tub and the rest of the junk that has been acquiring in our backyard.
