Have Healthy Snacks Handy at Home and Throughout Your Day!

Instead of eating three, sustainable meals throughout the day, I have always been a snacker! In fact, I would rather snack on little, different things all day than eat any meals at all. The problem with this is that I’m never truly “full” so I just keep snacking! I don’t really know why I choose snacking over meals, but I think it has something to do with having something to munch on while I do other tasks. Come to think of it, I don’t even really set time aside for meals unless I’m actually going out do dinner or lunch.

With that being said, I’ve been trying to stick to my routine of eating smaller proportioned meals or “snacks” throughout the day, but making sure that they are full of nutrients and sustainable. Hopefully, as a result of this, I will stay full longer throughout the day! (And have better energy too.)

The following examples are split up into places that are appropriate to keep these snacks. Feel free to be creative too! For example, if you love almonds and yogurt, combine the two (in a well-proportioned amount) so you are double satisfied! Provided by Martha Stewarts, Real Simple magazine, these are great pages to pull out and put on your fridge, bulletin board, in your glovebox, or on your pantry door!
